- Visit some of the finest islands near Athens
- Sightseeing aboard a state-of-the-art luxury yacht
- A world apart from the bustle of Athens
The full day Greek Islands Cruise is a long day but a good one. It's a great way to see a sample of the Greek islands, if you only have limited time in Athens/Greece, I thought it was very well run and organised, and the staff were all very friendly. The lunch buffet was great and we had a good amount of time in each place. The only downside I think was the price of the optional extras - they were a tad overpriced for what you got. But all in all, I'd highly recommend doing this Greek Islands Cruise through Tinggly.
Island-hopping in Greece is a bucket list idea for many, and this Athens gift experience makes that dream both easy and stylish. Begin with a pick-up from your hotel and transfer to the port, where you’ll board a luxurious cruise vessel with spacious lounges and several bars. The first destination on the route is Hydra. Exploring the island’s cobbled alleyways, where donkeys are still a common mode of transportation, is like stepping back in time. For a small supplement you can also join a guided walking tour to see traditional houses and historic landmarks.
Moving on to the leafy island of Poros, bask in the fragrant pine forests and lemon groves, relax on picturesque beaches, before the final stop - Aegina. Here you can roam groves of pistachio nuts, or take a supplemental bus tour to the magnificent Temple of Aphaea, and a Byzantine monastery. A delicious Mediterranean buffet is served aboard ship, accompanied by live entertainment and dancing, making this one of the most idyllic Athens day-trip ideas around.
