On this white-water rafting experience, your family will traverse over 20 rapids along an 8 km stretch of river. Your professional and highly experienced guides will not only ensure your safety but will teach you about the traditional myths and legends of the local Maori population along with tips on safety, heritage, and the natural environment of the Tongariro River and Park. After your white-knuckle water adventure, you will have time to slow down at a visit to the National Trout Centre where you can feed the fish and have a light snack.
