- One of the world’s greatest boat journeys, along the magnificent Rhine Valley
- Taste the delicious wines of the valley and admire famous Lorelei-Rocks

All went fine, except Wine Tasting part. All the participants received 3 little plastic glasses for shorts (just ca 10 ml wine in each). If you like the wine - you can buy the bottle. Even in the usual wine shop, you receive more wine and more information about it :) It doesnt deserve to be called "wine tasting". Tinggly customer service is really good!
The trip on the rhine itself was beautiful but do not expect too much from food and wine tasting, as they are the idea of what they could be rather than the real thing. Portions are overviewable so you might want to take an extra beverage or two and a sandwich. Definitely okay for a tourist with a tight time schedule, not so much for locals or tourists on a tight budget as with a little effort and planning the trip could be organised with lower costs and probably better food.
Germany’s Rhine Valley is understandably a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Famed for its fairytale-like medieval castles, and the picturesque villages and vineyards that run alongside the banks of this most beautiful of rivers, the Rhine captures the imagination like nowhere else. A superb tour allows you to spend a day relaxing on a boat journey through scenic locales, stopping off for lunch and a spot of wine-tasting, but really the main draw is just wandering the deck and admiring some of Europe’s most beloved landscape.
Travel by romantic Rhine steamer past the world-renowned Loreleyfelsen rock, wander the narrow streets of Rüdesheim, and, in the summer, you also have the option of taking the Assmannshauen cable car down the valley. Lunch is provided, in a local restaurant, where you’ll also have the chance to taste some wines produced in a nearby vineyard. Note that during the winter months, it is possible the boats won’t be sailing, in which case you’ll be visiting one of the Rhine’s stunning castles instead for a guided tour. All told, this is a stunning day out.
