- Most chic way to explore Cannes and the Corniche d’Or
- Ride one of the most famous touring roads in France

The Corniche d’Or, which connects Saint Raphaël with Cannes, is among the most dramatically beautiful routes in all of France. This half-day sightseeing tour takes you from Cannes to Agay and back aboard a unique form of transport: an iconic Vespa scooter. Follow a professional guide along the magnificent Mediterranean coast, pausing to take in stunning Esterel mountain and sea views, and learn why this road earned its name from the incredible scenery.
As you ride along with the cool breeze in your face, the rugged coastline with its beaches and coves opening up before you, reflect on how much more enjoyable it is to be on a scooter than trapped in a tour bus. The most incredible point of the route is likely to be the peak of Cape Roux, where red rock drops down into the sea from 450m. But keep an eye out also for the 19th century tower on the tiny ‘Golden Island’, built by an eccentric who declared himself king of the island and said to have been an inspiration for the cover of Hergé’s ‘Tintin and the Black Island’.
