Experience description

The Heritage Zone is famous as a hive of activity, where you can buy anything you desire. One of the oldest parts of Kuala Lumpur, and as you walk around your guide will point out many significant heritage buildings and other points of interest, as well as illuminating Chinese cultural and culinary traditions. Don’t miss the motorcycle stall selling salted roast duck, a particular delicacy here, or the Char Kuew Teow (stir-fried rice noodles), a national favourite.

Sample and Taste up to 11 types of food and drinks such as the national drink Teh Tarik (Pulled Tea), the local ‘all time favourite’ Char Kuew Teow (Stir Fried Rice Noodles), famous Laksa, Indian Rotis and the best egg tarts in Malaysia. Learn about traditional Chinese medicines and see the various herbal treatments on sale, and gain an understanding of how the traders here operate their stalls.
