At Big Island Buggy you choose the destination! You tour the island in your very own open aired VW Manx style buggy. We offer 2 or 4 seat buggies. See historical sites, drive to beautiful beaches, tour the coffee farms, YOU decide where and how long you would like to stay. We rent our buggies for 4 hours or a full day up to 8 hours. Call for 24 hour or multiple day rentals. Our buggies come with a soft top that you can remove with ease and give yourself a full 360 degree view and it is AMAZING! We deliver and pick up free from KOA airport, South to Captain Cook area. We include a fee (delivery and pick up included) to any locations North of the KOA airport to Mauna Kea Beach Hotel, (Please pick the N.of airport price option). The buggies can be driven anywhere a rental car can go on the island. They go highway speeds. The only restriction is no off road (except dirt parking lots) and they are not 4 wheel drive. Whether it's your condo in Waikoloa, hotel in Kona, cruise ship port in Kona, KOA airport or on the street, we deliver and pick up at your specified time and location. For your convenience, beach chairs, beach towels, umbrella and soft cooler provided by request at no additional charge. We have also equipped them with a USB port and Bluetooth speaker so you can listen to your favorite playlist while cruising down the road and taking in the sites.
