- Skydive over some of the most unique scenery in the USA
- See Utah from almost two miles above the Earth
Moab is pretty much ground zero for extreme sports in the USA. And they don’t come much more extreme than skydiving. This is a unique and breathtaking way to experience the scenery around Moab, and get your kicks in a big way at the same time. Take a tandem skydive from 13,000 feet, with almost a minute of freefall before the parachute snaps open! You’ll enjoy superb aerial panoramas over Arches and Canyonlands. If this is your first skydive, and it’s always been on your bucket list - there can be few better places to try it.
You’ll be jumping from so high up, almost two miles above the surface of the Earth, that it takes around 25 minutes just to climb up to jump altitude. Enjoy the views out of the windows over Moab and the surrounding area. Then your instructor will double check the harnesses, and before you know it you’re bundling out of the door and into the sky. Expect your senses to be overloaded as you rocket through the air, then a sudden change in speed as the cord is pulled and you float gently down for another five minutes. There’s nothing
else quite like the rush of freefall - don’t be surprised if you’re immediately hooked.
