- Huge fun getting to meet elephants
- Support a vital conservation charity
We had an amazing day with an incredibly knowledgeable French expat who took us to a sustainable Elephant rescue center. The experience was very personalized and our guide was very friendly. There is nothing more that we could have asked for!
Great day learning about elephant rescue and conservation. Sadly water levels were too high (too dangerous) to bathe baby elephants so that event was cancelled. Still got to meet and feed rescued elephants which was awesome.
Ever wanted to take a bath with an elephant? Now’s your chance. There are over 300 elephants living at this sanctuary, and you’ll meet them, help to feed them, watch an entertainment show and, best of all, give the baby elephants a wash in the river. They love splashing around with people so expect a lot of watery fun and cute photo opportunities. Lunch is provided by the way, you won’t need to share a bunch of bananas with the animals.
This experience has it all - fun, excitement, doing your bit to conserve endangered animals, and it’s also very moving and humbling, to be in the presence these gentle giants, and to learn about the tragedies that have brought them to this centre. Malaysian elephants face a combination of deadly threats, from the logging industry to poaching, and the staff here have dedicated themselves to rehabilitating them. Your visit provides important funding to ensure their work can continue.
