- One of the world’s most invigorating watersports
- Explore Swedish nature from unique perspective

If you’ve been to any seaside resort in the last few years, you’ll no doubt be familiar with the sight of stand-up paddle-boarding. Looks fun, right? Want to give it a try? The Vindel River in Sweden is a fantastic place to start your lesson, with heaps of beautiful scenery to enjoy as you meander slowly along. Keep the noise down, and the chances are good you’ll see some of the local inhabitants such as beaver, moose or waterfowl, no doubt curious about the people floating on by.
Your instructors will show you the basics, from how to find your balance to paddling without falling in, although you can expect a few tumbles into the water to begin with. You’ll be wearing a wetsuit and lifejacket of course, so no need to worry on that score. Choose from scenic locations of Arvånor or Tannbäcken, and expect a lot of fun, a lot of splashing around, and a great workout. A brilliant day out, and a welcome Sweden gift experience in the ever-expanding Tinggly portfolio.
