Why we included this experience:

Breath-taking views of the beautiful Clew Bay from an unbeatable vantage point as you climb a sheer rockface.

Experience description

Tinggly love this adrenaline-packed rock-climbing experience in the gorgeous surrounds of Ireland’s West Coast. With qualified instructors at your side, you’ll scale a 60ft (18m) rockface overlooking the famous Clew Bay, with panoramic views taking in the Nephin Range mountains and the Clare Island. If you’ve never tried rock-climbing before then this is definitely one of the best places to try it, and if you’re an old-hand we’re sure you’ll agree that a location as beautiful as this brings a whole new dimension to the sport.

Your guides will show you the best route up the rockface, with all the support and encouragement you need to reach the summit. Once you get there, take a deep breath of the fresh ocean air, and enjoy a look around to see what you’ve accomplished. But the adventure is only halfway through - once you’ve recharged your batteries you’ll be descending the same way you came up, this time abseiling down on your ropes - possibly even more exciting than the ascent!
