This Barron chap was a popular guy! Dam-controlled, so with reliable water levels all year-round, this is an ideal setting for a rafting trip, with Grade 3 rapids at points making for a challenging ride. You’ll be accompanied by a professional guide who as well as ensuring everyone makes it downriver in the safest and most enjoyable way possible, will also explain the sights you’re passing.
Located just outside Cairns, with its lovely tropical climate, this is a picturesque setting and there will of course be plenty of opportunity between rapids for you to catch your breath and admire the spectacular scenery all around. Full safety training and equipment are provided, so you can concentrate on the adrenaline-rush of rafting one of Australia’s most attractive rivers.
