Bangkok is a city of two halves - the packed metropolis with its commercial districts, gleaming skyscrapers and the exotica of Khao San Road; and the more sedate, traditional communities where Thai culture continues as it has done for centuries. This well-curated tour lets you admire the skyscrapers of the city center and visit the biggest fresh food market in town. After a small break to taste some tropical fruit, cycle through the small communities that have built up under the highway. Continue to the pier to cross the Chao Phraya river by longtail boat.
Following the comfortable longboat ride you’ll return to your bikes for a lovely journey through Bangkok’s green belt, quiet patches of open space a world away from the hubbub of the city centre. Along the way, stop for a delicious homemade lunch, freshly prepared by the locals. Then, cycle back to the longtail boat and cross the river again to return to Bangkok's beating heat and high-rise buildings.
