- Put your mental and physical stamina to the ultimate test
- Learn valuable survival skills
- Spend two weeks living on the edge in the jungle
In the remote and beautiful wilderness of the Guyana rainforest, you’ll learn the art of survival in a hostile environment, fishing for piranha, eating bugs and keeping an eye out for jaguars in the trees. Along the way you’ll be taught all the skills you need to find fresh water in the jungle, build shelters, light fires and catch your own food. You’ll stalk for game with a bow and arrow, hack vines with a machete and become one with the jungle, led by a trained instructor and some local Amerindian guides. This is perhaps the most extreme and challenging gift experience in the Tinggly collection - if you think you have what it takes to make it through, book early because this is guaranteed to get a lot of Tinggly-lovers very excited.
Just travelling to the start-point, by boat, light aircraft and 4x4, takes a few days in itself. You’ll arrive in a village to get kitted out, then head into the wilderness to start the adventure of a lifetime. Before departure you’ll learn what equipment you’ll need to bring yourself, and some tips on how to build up your stamina. Then comes the Training phase, where you’ll learn the basic survival skills before the ultimate test, the Isolation phase. Either alone, or with a buddy, you’ll be left in a corner of the jungle to put what you’ve learned into action, making camp, hunting food and finding water all alone. Channel your inner-Bear Grylls and get ready for the greatest challenge of your life.
