Halfway through the flight, your professional pilot will swoop in for a landing atop the vast Cheakamus Glacier, which is Canada’s largest southernmost glacier, on Rainbow Mountain. The glacier is over 12,000 years old, and the sensation of walking on it is fantastic - hear the ice creaking and groaning as you crunch through the snow for 15 minutes. On your way back to base, keep an eye out for residents of Garibaldi Park including black bear, Golden eagle, Bald eagle and mountain goat.
