Very nice experience. Worth going for it. Amazing scenery when both kayaking and hiking. It could be slightly better organised at the check in stage; a second person would be very helpful in unloading and loading the kayaks.

Experience description

Experience the incredible Wailua River on this 5-hour, guided kayak tour on Kauai. Paddle by the Kamokila Village, where the opening scene from the movie “Outbreak” was filmed. Hike through lush rain forest, and take photos of the stunning Ulewehi Waterfall. Includes a picnic lunch with vegetarian & gluten-free options.

Kayak 2 miles, Hike 1 mile to have lunch and a swim at a waterfall. Hike back and paddle back. Guests must be in good physical condition to do this tour. Guests exposed to stream crossings, roots, rocks, lots of mud in the winter / rainy season.
