Climb onto one of our horses and go on an unforgettable horse ride in the nature of Fruska Gora. Horse riding is a great way to get in contact with nature. Horseback riding is in itself therapeutic and when you ride in the beautiful nature, you will be blown away by the whole experience.
This horseback riding tour is arranged by local guides that are horse people through and through. You do not need to be an experienced rider to join this tour. Whether you are a beginner or an expert, this is the tour for you. You will have a certified safety helmet on the tour that is doable for both experienced and less experienced horse riders. During this tour, you will visit one of the most beautiful lakes on Fruska gora, lake Beli kamen.

Vrdnik Monastery is one of the most significant medieval Monasteries of Fruška Gora Mountain, situated in the famous Vrdnik Banja spa. Vrdnik Monastery was first mentioned in the Turkish records dating from 1566, although there is no exact data on time of its foundation and its donor. Vrdnik Monastery was established in the 15th century, before the Turkish occupation of Serbia. Its history begins with the event after the Great Migration of the Serbs, at the end of the 17th century, when monks of Ravanica Monastery carried the remains of the Saint Prince Lazar to the deserted Monastery in the Srem district. Since that time the Vrdnik Monastery – known as the Ravanica of Srem became the spiritual center and the center of the cult of Holy Prince Lazar of Serbia. The monastery today is being kept up by female monks, and the dormitories are considered one of the most beautiful at Fruška Gora.

The viewpoints of Fruška Gora are on its highest parts. From the first days of spring to the first days of cold, autumn days, these viewpoints become the favorite spots for nature lovers. One of them is the Zmajevac, with one of the most beautiful views of Srem, especially in the evening hours, when the lights of the local villages are turned on.

Prepare yourself for a little climb up a steep slope, after which you'll arrive to the great hall. The hall is 4m high and was made by digging out stones, most probably to be used for the Rakovac monastery nearby. Stone pillars hold the vault. The mine was closed during the thirties. There are steps clad in stone, so you can explore the inner chambers. The entire complex is gargantuan and unique to Fruška Gora. There's a road that can lead you above the hall's vault where you'll find a striking view of the Fruška Gora.

The Vrdnik Tower on Fruška Gora is the only guard tower in the Srem region in Serbia. It is assumed that the tower was built by the Roman Emperor Probus, while the historical documents first mention it in 1315. Until the arrival of the Ottomans, the tower had great significance, because the entire Srem could be seen from its top. After a few minutes of climbing you'll end up at the oval walls of the tower. It's a few meters shy of being 20m tall, and is cylindrically shaped. The view of the forests of Fruška Gora from up there is highly inspiring, and utmost impressive.

Stop At: Iriški Venac, Serbia
The TV tower on Iriški Venac is the biggest one on Fruška Gora with its 170m in height. The armored concrete construction was built in 1975. and its main purpose was the emission of radio and TV signals in Vojvodina. Because of location and height, the object is visible from the most part of the Srem and Bačka side and is an indispensable part of the Novi Sad panorama. It suffered great amounts of damage during the NATO bombing in 1999. and has since been in limited function. The sanitation plan still hasn't been clearly defined.

Sloboda (Freedom) is the name of the biggest monument on Fruska gora. It was raised in honor of the fallen soldiers and represents a symbol of the National Liberation struggle against fascism in the second world war. The monument is dominated by a high obelisk, which at its top holds the figure of a woman - the personification of liberty - with her arms held high as a gesture that calls for an uprising. The obelisk and the accompanying walls were built from limestone rock that was dug up on Fruška Gora.
