Staying in Oslo and don’t have as much time as you’d like to explore? This fab Norway gift experience is just the ticket. Your guided tour of Oslo by coach takes you around many of the city’s must-see landmarks, including the Open Air Museum, Vigeland Park and of course the iconic Holmenkollen Ski Jump. You’ll start at Frogland Park, otherwise known as Vigeland Park, to see a vast and renowned sculpture collection by the Norwegian artist Gustav Vigeland, including famous works such as the immense Monolith, and The Angry Boy. Then it’s on for a photo stop at the Holmenkollen Ski Jump, used during the 1952 Winter Olympics and offering sensational views over the city.
Next, your coach will take you out to the Bygdøy Peninsula, home to many of Oslo’s top visitor attractions. You’ll visit the Open Air Museum, Norway’s largest outdoor collection of cultural history with exhibits including a 13th century stave church. To finish, you have a choice either of the Fram Museum, to see the wooden polar explorer that was the first boat to reach the South Pole, or the Kon-Tiki Museum, to learn about the intrepid adventures of Norwegian explorer Thor Heyerdahl and see the raft on which he sailed between Peru and Polynesia.
