Ciara was great! Very informative and fun tour. Great for couples. Would not do with family. We visited 3 Bacaro to have wine and cicchetti. Many of the cicchetti were seafood, so if you are not a seafood fan, make sure to tell them so you can have an alternative or skip this tour all together.
Lots of fun with good food, and Donata was a great tour guide. You see a part of Venice that is off the beaten path. Definitely worth doing
Venice is a city made for sightseeing, its beautiful palaces, squares and bridges providing a wealth of photographic opportunities. This evening guided tour of Venice is the perfect way to wind down after a busy day, and in the style of a true Venetian too. Join a professional guide for an enjoyable walk around the magnificent Jewish quarter, during which you’ll be entertained by the local version of happy hour! Explore winding alleys, picturesque bridges over the canals that inspired Shakespeare’s ‘Merchant of Venice’, and sidewalks lined with cafes and restaurants off the usual tourist path.
Naturally, as you move between bàcari (wine bars) you’ll build up an appetite and a thirst, but this Venice gift experience has plenty to keep you going. Sample delicious cicchettis, plates of traditional starters (sorry, no gluten-free or vegan dishes can be prepared on this tour) and superb Italian wines as you mingle with the locals. We think this is one of the best tours to see a side of Venice that many visitors sadly do not, and it’s sure to be one of the most memorable evenings of your stay.
