- Take your photo on the incredible Kjerag boulder
- Hike through Norway’s finest natural scenery
- Chance to watch base jumpers in action

If you love being in the Great Outdoors then this Norway experience is unmissable. Accompanied by a trained guide, you’ll be exploring a beautiful area with views that will take your breath away. Beginning with a 2.5 hour journey from Stavanger, you’ll pass lush green valleys, fjords and mountains, before reaching the “Eagles Nest”, 640m above sea-level, to begin your hike. The 11km round-trip journey ascends around 800m further, on trails recently upgraded by Nepalese craftsmen. Your destination? The epic, world-famous Kjerag boulder, suspended between two cliffs above a 1000m abyss. Stand on the rock if you dare to have your photo taken, and maybe even witness a base jumper making a daredevil leap.
The descent is easier going of course, but still affords magnificent panoramic views over the region, especially the scenic Lysefjord. The return journey to Stavanger incorporates a short visit at a factory selling traditional Norwegian candles and local artworks, great if you need to pick up a few souvenirs or gifts, and then you’ll be driving through an almost-lunar landscape, lit up by moonlight. A superb day out for hikers, thrill-seekers and anyone that wants to immerse themselves in gorgeous Norwegian nature.
