You would expect them to do bungee jumps a little differently in California, and true to form, this experience is very unique. In fact, out of all the bungee jumps in the Tinggly collection, it’s one of our absolute favourites. What makes this jump special in our eyes is two things. First, it makes use of a spectacular, rugged forest for the location, and second, the jump itself is only the final section of a three-part adventure: first you’ve got to climb the tree, then walk out into the middle of a tightrope, and then take the leap. Woo!
Your base for this jump? The beautiful Sierra Nevada mountains in a remote forest of Giant Redwoods- these are some of the tallest trees on the planet, and this bungee is suspended between two 200ft tall specimens. Suitable for first-timers, but a little more challenging than your standard bridge jump, this is all about the amazing location. Enjoy a few dramatic seconds of freefall with the forest floor racing up at you, before the cord bounces you back into the sky. It’s the biggest rush in California.
