Bungee from Bridge to Nowhere in the US
Overview
With most bungee jumps, you’re up and down in a matter of minutes. Not so with this fantastic bungee in the San Gabriel Mountains, 30km from downtown LA. In the great flood of 1938, a road under construction was swept away and never completed, leaving an arch bridge stranded in the middle of nowhere, and an attractive five-mile hiking trail to it through the Angeles forest. So for this California bungee jump you’ll leave Azusa early in the morning and drive to the San Gabriel Canyon, then make your way to the bridge with the jump as your reward!
Bring a swimsuit with you because there’s lot of places to take a refreshing dip along the way - the rugged and rocky trail crosses a creek some five or six times, and you can expect your footwear to get wet. Your guides will then hand you over to the jump team, who will get you ready for an unforgettable leap of faith. This is the oldest bungee company in America, founded by a professional stunt coordinator, so you’re in safe hands. This is a great day out, and after you jump you’ll bed led back through the gorgeous Sheep Mountain Wilderness Area.
