Experience description

Each class revolves around a menu of two dishes (vegetarian option available) such as the seafood stew (Moqueca) and cassava sticks, a classic Central African accompaniment. Alternatively try your hand at the Feijoada, a tasty meat and black-bean stew of Portuguese origin. Both are made from simple ingredients widely available around the world, and are guaranteed to cause a stir when you give your next dinner party. After the demonstration finishes, you’ll cook your own version, before sitting down with classmates to enjoy your creations!

And of course, the best thing to wash down a traditional Brazilian meal is a traditional Brazilian cocktail! The Caipirinha is the national cocktail, with a strong taste of lime. It was once used to treat the Spanish Flu, and it is still employed today as a cure for the common cold. Alternatively you can try the Batida de côco, a flavoursome coconut cocktail you’ll no doubt spend the rest of the holiday perfecting.
