- Ride an iconic Royal Enfield through the majestic Himalayas
- Spectacular views you’ll never forget
- A truly epic road experience for the bucket list
The Royal Enfield ‘Bullet’ is one of the great iconic motorcycle designs, now manufactured in India. Put a classic bike through its paces with this legendary India gift experience involving a series of trips departing from the famed city of Leh, a major launching-point for many hiking trips in the HImalayas. After a day sightseeing in bustling Leh, head out on a day-trip to the Nubra Valley, along the world’s highest bike-accessible road. You’ll stop off for a camel ride, no helmet required, through beautiful sand dunes, overnighting in your first guesthouse. Returning to Leh on Day 4, the next day you’ll move on to Pangong to see the spectacular salt lake that changes colour before your eyes, a paradise for birdwatchers.
On Day 6 you’ll return again to Leh, to recharge your batteries, before heading to Tsomoriri, a journey of over 220km. You’ll pass through several towns along the way allowing you to get a true flavour of Himalayan culture. Parts of the ride are little more than dirt track, a significant challenge. See a high-altitude mountain lake, deep blue and crystal clear, in an area inhabited by nomadic shepherds and stay the night here in this picturesque wilderness. On Day 8 you’ll make your final return to Leh via the beautiful Tso-Kar, or White Lake. There’s only one way to describe this Himalayan motorbike adventure, and that’s epic. Astonishing mountain vistas, high roads that provide plenty of thrills, and a classic bike powering you along the way.
