Well now you do, and you’ve got no excuses for signing up for this action packed day trip from the Big Apple. Forget pounding the pavements sightseeing, and instead pick up a paddle and join a team of likeminded adventurers as you tackle the Leigh River, through nine miles of foaming rapids in a remote, beautiful landscape. There’s no better way to cool off in the summer!
If this is your first time rafting, there’s no previous experience necessary. All you need is to be able to swim, and be reasonably fit so you can play your part. Your guides will provide you will all the instruction needed, and the fun comes naturally. You’ll be rafting for between two and three hours before breaking for lunch, then a further hour afterwards before returning to the city. Rafting is timed to make the most of dam release days when the water is highest and the rapids at their most hectic, so be ready to get wet and wild!
