Head over the mountains from Sarajevo into the heart of Herzegovina, through outstanding natural beauty. You’ll pause for photographs at the area where Bosnia and Herzegovina meet, before entering the ancient town of Konjic, famed for its wood carvings and which saw considerable damage during the Yugoslav Wars in the 1990s. Your Sarajevo gift experience continues on to Mostar, via Jablanica where you’ll visit the site of an important WWII battle at a ruined train bridge. The beauty of Mostar unfolds before you as you explore the Old Town, the world-famous Old Bridge, and historic Ottoman architecture dating from the 16th century.
