- Snorkel at the famous ‘Wall’
- Relax and sunbathe on a private beach
- Lunch prepared by renowned local chef
Hello. The day was upheaval from the start. They picked us up late in a very old bus, shuffled us to a gas station, where we sat for 1/2 hour until other people were shuffled to our bus. The drive was interesting, I did enjoy the sugar cane fields. But then we stopped at another gas station where there were armed guards, we were told nothing about what was going on. The boat ride was fun; however, there was NOT AN OPEN BAR as stated in the trip details, we were given some weird punch out of a container. Again on the beach, no open bar, just awful tasting rum and coke and beer [which they closed before we got back on the boat]. The Lobster was great, other food so-so. Overall I am disappointed that I wasted my gift card on this experience. Can someone please contact me. thank you.
An unmissable snorkeling trip in the Dominican Republic, this catamaran tour takes you out to the stunning Catalina Island where you’ll explore some of the country’s most celebrated and beautiful underwater ecosystems. The boat, aptly named ‘Paradise’, is crewed by a friendly, PADI-qualified team who will welcome you aboard with some typical tropical refreshments before you head out into the Caribbean towards the eastern side of Catalina Island and famed snorkeling site, ‘The Wall’. The turquoise waters allow for superb visibility, and you’ll see many amazing species of bright tropical fish right before your eyes.
After an hour or so in the water you’ll move on to the island’s west side and a gorgeous private beach. Make the most of the deserted sands and open bar, while waiting for a delicious lunch to be prepared by a local chef. You can also upgrade to a VIP package for a supplement, and dine on fresh lobster! The rest of the afternoon is yours to shape however you want it - sunbathe, do some more snorkeling, or socialise around the open bar, before the boat returns you to the marina from where you’ll be conveniently transported back to your hotel. We think this is one of the must-do gift experiences in the Dominican Republic.
