The majestic Lyngen Alps, lying just east of Tromso, are your destination for this exciting snowmobile safari that takes you deep into the frozen wilderness of northern Norway. The scenery is absolutely magical, as you follow approved and well-established trails with plenty of time to pause and take a photo, play in the snow, and learn fascinating stories and facts about the mountains from your friendly guide.
If you’re driving the snowmobile, get ready for a lot of fun (although safety is always priority number one) and if you’re the passenger, just enjoy the ride, and the views. This is Norwegian nature at its finest, a white canvas like something from a dream. And while it’s sure to be cold in winter, you’ll be toasty warm with the use of thermal suit, boots and gloves, and your guide will also be carrying some tasty soup for a snack.
