It takes a certain kind of madness to jump out of a plane from 16500 feet up in the air. Even
when you’ve got a professional instructor attached to you, with thousands of jumps under
their belt. If this special kind of insanity applies to you, then you’re going to love this New
Zealand gift experience. You’ll be taking a tandem skydive over Fox Glacier, one of the
country’s biggest natural attractions, with around 70 seconds of freefall at up to 200km per
hour!
Take in spectacular views of Aoraki / Mt. Cook, New Zealand’s highest mountain, Lake
Tekapo and Lake Pukaki and all the way to both coasts. You’ll see rainforest, glaciers, rivers
and snow fields in the Southern Alps as you tumble, then the instructor will pull the cord,
your ‘chute opens, and you’ll float serenely down to earth. You won’t be able to miss the
Fox Glacier, and you’ll get a perspective that few others enjoy. Oxygen is provided for all
jumps from this height - it’s an absolute beast of a skydive and a must for adrenaline
hunters in New Zealand.
