- Rated one of the world’s most scenic places to skydive
- Freefall at speeds of more than 190km/hour
Sugarloaf Key has been ranked by Forbes and the New York Post as one of the most
beautiful places in the world for a skydive, and you won’t find any disagreement from us. As
you head up to jump altitude you’ll take a 15-minute sightseeing tour over the Florida Keys
and learn exactly why this is such a legendary vacation destination. There’s no hanging
around with this experience - on arrival you’ll be equipped with your jumpsuit, given all the
instructions you need, then you’re into the plane and on your way. That’s because your
instructor will handle 99% of the work for you - all you need to do is enjoy the ride.
The hardest part of any tandem skydive is building up the courage to take that leap of faith.
Once you jump however, all your fears will evaporate in the incredible rush of freefall. For
around 40 seconds you’ll reach speeds of up to 190km/hour - an amazing thrill. Then the
instructor pops the parachute, and you’ll drift down to the landing site for about five
minutes. Keep an eye out for dolphins in the water, tropical birds, Seven Mile Bridge and
great views of the middle Keys.
