- Best way to discover Chicago’s foodie culture
- Tour covers several key city landmarks
Had a great time and Justin was a great guide!
We absolutely love this Chicago foodie walking tour. Led by a knowledgeable local guide, it takes you around the downtown area, through historic spaces, past architectural treasures, and other important city landmarks. Along the way you’ll stop to sample some of the city’s finest streetfoods, from hot dogs to pizza, brownies to beer from a Chicago brewery - ok, nothing too exotic, but you’ll be with a local and they always know the best places to eat!
So what are you going to see as you’re walking? The historic Palmer Hotel, where guests have included Ulysses S. Grant, Grover Cleveland, Mark Twain and Oscar Wilde; Millennium Park; the stunning atrium, outdoor clocks and mosaic ceiling of Marshall Field’s building, and the immense Chicago River which during March is turned a radioactive shade of green as part of a St. Patrick’s Day tradition. Note that when the weather is warm, the route follows the scenic Loop, and when it’s colder your guide will take you through the Chicago Pedway system. An indispensable Chicago gift experience that shows you the city, and fills you with delicious food, suitable for visitors and residents alike.
