One of the Best this we have donc so far! Super nice by warm weather. Would not do it if it is too cold, though. Our guide was super mindful of our needs and very friendly.

Really great! Value for money was brilliant and our guide really made our experience memorable by taking pictures and packing a fantastic lunch. She was very experienced and really made us feel at ease. Would highly recommend.

The Bua Tong ‘Sticky’ waterfall is one of the most popular day-trips from Chiang Mai, just a 90-minute drive from the city. Why ‘sticky’? Because the limestone rocks underneath are coated in mineral deposits that give you grip, while not allowing algae to form. So despite the waterfall being quite steep, you can actually climb up it using just your feet and hands for a nice view of the surrounding rainforest, then slide gently back down.
Getting to the waterfall involves a short trek through the rainforest, so you’ll be pleased to know that if you bring along a swimsuit you can join the locals paddling around the multi-tiered waterfall. The waters are crystal-clear and rich in minerals, the perfect way to soak tired muscles. This Chiang Mai gift experience also includes a picnic lunch of typical northern Thai food, and is sure to provide a relaxing day out with plenty of thrills.
