An exquisite experience begins with hotel pick-up by Mercedes-Benz, followed by a continental breakfast at the prestigious Mayaland Resort. Inside the sacred grounds of Chichen Itza, close to the temples, this resort has a private entrance to the site, through which your guide will lead you. You’ll explore the temples and main points of interest in these world-famous ruins, including the Pyramid of Kukulcán, the observatory and the Temple of the Warriors at your leisure.
Returning to the Mayaland Resort for a delicious lunch, you’re free to make use of the facilities, including a choice of restaurants serving international cuisine, several fabulous swimming-pools, or wander the botanical gardens. One must-see though is the Sacred Cenote, a natural sinkhole often called the Well of Sacrifice, which would have provided a source of drinking water to the Mayan community here.
