- It is the must-vist “Devil’s Garden” of Croatia that looks like a paradise
This special 4-hour guided tour will take you to the most scenic and remote spots in Plitvice, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Found in the Dinaric Mountain range just under two hours drive from Zadar, this must be one of the most enticing locations in all of Croatia, which if you know Croatia is really saying something. Your guide will be happy to talk you through how this impressive lake system was formed, and show you around the lush, unspoiled environment.
You’ll take a pleasant electric boat ride on the crystal-clear Kozjak lake (sadly swimming here isn’t possible), which is an excellent opportunity to see if you can spot any of the park’s shy inhabitants, such as lynx, eagle, wild cat and the European brown bear. On saying a sad goodbye to this breathtakingly beautiful park , you can stop for lunch at a nearby restaurant before heading back to Zadar.
