- Embrace the rich diversity of the Mekong Delta
- A beautiful day out from Ho Chi Minh City
- Fine lineup of relaxed cultural activities
The experience of seeing the bee making honey and other kind of products was pretty interesting. I enjoyed listening to local Vietnamese singers from the small village. The boat tour was also cool. The lunch was really lovely and the visit to Pagoda is a great way to end the trip.
Excellent trip! Really enjoyed it. Only downside was the pick up time was 7am-8am. It’s a really long time to sit around and wait and we weren’t even picked up until just before 8. A shorter pick up time would be massively appreciated

There’s no better way to take in the full beauty and vibrant culture of the Mekong Delta than this Vietnam experience. Drift gently along canals, beneath overhanging coconut trees, in a hand-rowed sampan; past riverside fishing villages, fish farms, fruit plantations and homes on stilts, listening to the sounds of the jungle as you go. Your tour begins in My Tho, where you’ll make a stop at the beautiful Vinh Trang pagoda, then board a small boat taking you to Tortoise islet, for a delicious Vietnamese-style lunch in the orchard garden.
Moving on to An Khanh, drop by for a cup of seasonal fruit and honey-flavoured tea, accompanied by some Southern Vietnamese folk music performed by the locals. You’ll bask in relaxed pastoral life as you wander through a fruit plantation, and find it hard to resist the coconut candy and crispy rice cakes, before boarding the bus back to Ho Chi Minh City. An elegant, refreshing day out, not far from the hustle and bustle of city life, but feeling like a million miles away.
