- Admire Oregon's tallest waterfall
- Travel the historic Columbia River highway
- Opportunity to visit prestigious wine-tasting rooms
Jump aboard this full-day guided excursion around many of the most picturesque spots in Columbia Gorge, and prepare to be wowed by the incredible natural scenery on all sides. The loop journey from Portland begins at Vista House, a historic monument to American pioneers built in 1916, that offers astonishing views of the gorge. You’ll continue on to the historic Columbia River highway to see a number of impressive waterfalls, including the majestic Multnomah Falls, which is the tallest in Oregon and thought to be the second-highest year-round falls in the United States.
Pausing for lunch in Hood River (not included) you can enjoy stunning views of Mt. Hood and Mt. Adams in the distance. In the afternoon the time is at your leisure but we recommend visiting some of the renowned wine-tasting rooms in this area, such as Springdale and the Naked Winery (tastings not included in tour price). There’s also plenty of boutiques to occupy your time before you return to the city. An ideal Portland gift experience for wine-lovers and a must for those who want to explore this region’s famously breathtaking landscape.
