- The ONLY ocean-touch bungy in NZ
- Try ankle tie, harness jump or tandem
- Exclusive access to Auckland Harbour Bridge
The ultimate Kiwi experience, a bungy jump is a rite of passage for many travellers in New Zealand, and the Auckland Bridge jump ranks with the best of them. This 40m jump was first performed back in 1987 by the man who brought bungy jumping to worldwide attention, AJ Hackett himself. He was arrested for his trouble, but the only thing you need to worry about is plucking up the courage to take the leap.
As part of this iconic NZ jump, you’ll be walking along the well-known Auckland Harbour Bridge to the specially-constructed jump-pod. Plus, uniquely in this country, you’ll be taking a dip in the ocean rather than a lake or river. Take your pick of an ankle tie or a harness jump to try a somersault - you can even go tandem if you can find a willing volunteer. You can bring a friend along too (for a supplement) to take photos and lend you some moral support. Then it’s just thin air between you and the stunning Waitemata Harbour. 1, 2, 3… and over you go.
