- The only bridge climb in NZ, and it’s a good’un!
- Excellent commentary from guide
- Unrivalled views over Auckland
The Auckland Harbour Bridge is an impressive, though controversial, piece of engineering that connects the St Mary’s Bay with Northcote, straddling the scenic Waitemata Harbour. This fun climbing experience sees you strapped into a harness before approaching specially-designed walkways that take you up, under, over and around the bridge, allowing for excellent views of the area.
One of New Zealand’s favourite sons, the bungee master A.J. Hackett, operates a jump from the Auckland Harbour Bridge, so during your walk you may find yourself pausing to watch as someone takes the leap of faith - who knows, maybe you’ll want to try it yourself! Your guide will provide a running commentary about the area and the bridge’s construction as you go, and there will of course be plenty of opportunities to stop and take photos. A unique tour in New Zealand’s capital, we’re sure you’ll love this bridge climb and remember it for years to come.
