- The Jeep Safari is a must for every trip to Mallorca
- The Tramuntana Mountains of Mallorca are the perfect escape from civilisation
- Stunning natural landscape of the island
There's only one thing to say: definitely do it on your own! A great, fresh, funny team with lots of heart led us through the unbelievably beautiful mountains. Steep, impassable landscapes are a guaranteed thrill for drivers :) and passengers. We had an insane amount of fun! We'd also definitely do this again and bring our kids (7 +12, this isn't something for really young kids).
A chance to see the best that the beautiful Mallorcan countryside has to offer, your jeep expedition begins in Caimari, a pleasant little village known for its olive oil production. From here you’ll split into groups and begin the journey up into the Serra de Tramuntana, a UNESCO area of great physical and cultural significance. Home to the highest peak in the Balearics, there are numerous opportunities to stop, take photographs and embrace the splendid views. Your guide will be happy to explain the history, wildlife and cultural traditions of this area.
Moving on to Finca Es Rafals, a charming farm estate, on a clear day here you can see Menorca in the distance from this great vantage point. There’s a pool on-site to cool off, and a delicious traditional Mallorcan lunch available for a supplement. Returning to base at your own pace, you may like to take a turn driving the jeep, or simply sit back, relax and appreciate the glorious Mallorcan scenery going by.
