Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, one of the most influential Classical composers, was performing before royalty from the age of 5. It’s quite possible that some of his concerts would have been given in the stunning Baroque hall of the St. Peter’s Monastery in central Salzburg, where this marvellous Austria gift experience takes place. You’re invited to join a sumptuous evening of musical entertainment from a live orchestra featuring strings and singers in period costume, performing music from some of Mozart’s most famous works, such as the Magic Flute, Le Nozze de Figaro and Don Giovanni.
Accompanying the music is a delicious three-course banquet, served in one of Europe’s oldest restaurants. Illuminated by candlelight, you’ll dine on dishes that were popular during Mozart’s own time. This experience, based on the life of one of Europe’s most prolific composers, is aimed at immersing you in a realistic atmosphere, and will surely stay with you for years to come. Simply unmissable.
