The journey to insanity begins with a deceptively-calm guided tour, as you ascend the mountain through the village of Sarangkot, followed by a short walk to the attractive Butterfly Pavilion, with views of the Himalayas that will take your breath away. Wait your turn with a warm coffee to get the blood pumping, then you’ll be strapped in to your harness and given a safety briefing before blast-off.

Your ride takes you over green forested landscape, with stunning views of the Annapurna range, legendary Mt Machhapuchhre, and the torrential River Seti. An absolute adrenaline rush from start to finish, you’ll be racing to the bottom against another rider, and should be in the air for around 3 minutes, so be sure to book a helmet-mounted camera to fully capture the experience.
