- Fly above one of Lisbon’s most renowned neighbourhoods
- See two incredible World Heritage Sites from above
Belém is a must-visit when in Lisbon. This neighbourhood is home to several of the Portuguese capital’s most handsome and impressive architectural landmarks: the Belém Tower and the Jeronimos Monastery, both of them UNESCO World Heritage Sites; the Monument to the Discoveries - a stunning tribute to Portuguese maritime heritage, and the avant-garde Champalimaud Foundation. Belém is always so busy with tourists, especially during the summer months, that there is simply no better way to admire it than with a helicopter flight.
Make your Lisbon holiday something really special as you lift vertically into the air, and follow the River Tagus, over Belém and then on to views of the famed Pont 25 de Abril that spans the river and commemorates Portugal’s Carnation Revolution in 1974 (also a close cousin of the iconic Golden Gate Bridge) and of course the majestic Cristo Rei statue on the other side of the Tagus, a smaller version of that in Rio de Janeiro. This is a sensational Lisbon helicopter tour that really shows off many of the city’s must-see landmarks.
