Meet your chef at the 130-year old gastronomic Market of Progress. It is a cultural heritage site, which is also a weekly pitstop for many chefs and local foodies for its variety and quality ingredients. So we are guaranteed that you will get the best and the freshest products for your cooking lesson. While going to the local home of the chef you will pass an architecturally impressive English District to get inspired for your class.
The class will start with a mate drinking ritual and alfajores tasting. It is your chance to learn more about this social ceremony. Then you will start your hands-on lesson! You will make the dough and fillings for empanadas from scratch. Later, you will learn how to make dulce de leche pancakes - a traditional dessert of Buenos Aires. Do not worry if you get hungry while your empanadas are baking - have a short break and taste some great Argentian cheese and salami. Once the meal is ready, sit down with your fellow students and enjoy your freshly prepared food with a glass of red wine.
