After being picked up from your hotel in a complimentary shuttle bus, you’ll be taken to Boulder City Airport, barely half-an-hour from downtown Las Vegas where your adventure begins. Here, at the dropzone, is where you will meet your USPA certified tandem parachute master who will take you through a thorough ground training and safety briefing. Then, it’s time to take to the air.
You will be physically attached to your tandem master during the entire experience, making sure you’ve thoroughly bonded by the time you approach the open door and face the outside world. For 45-seconds you will freefall from the height of 12,500-feet at a speed of 120-mph - terminal velocity. Then, once your parachute has safely opened it’s time to let your tandem master guide you serenely to the earth while you take in the stunning views of Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, and the Valley of Fire.
