Time Together

We had the best time driving around Tokyo, Some great stretches to be able to speed up. Went further than we had imagined Plenty of time at lights to take phot...os & look around. Lots of pedestrians waving & photographing us. If you have your international licence it was easy process. Cold in winter so definitely recommend gloves. My friend and I truly had a great time driving the go karts. We chose not to wear the costumes because they looked a little dirty, but that didn’t take away fro...m all the fun we had. I recommend this activity simply because it’s such a cool way to get around Shinjuku! The go karts go fast so you’re able to keep up with traffic. The lead driver took lots of pics of us during the drive at various stop lights and sent them to us once the drive was over, which I really liked! The only caveat I had was that when I got there they tried to charge an extra 1,000 yen for what they called “insurance”, however they told me that if we followed them on Instagram or Facebook they’d waive the fee. Well I don’t have Instagram nor Facebook so I basically had to show them my TripAdvisor ticket and say that there was nothing mentioned about this “insurance fee” and that I wouldn’t be paying anything extra. They let me ride after I said that. I think it’s a shady way to get followers and it needlessly punishes those that aren’t on social media. So that put a very slight negative spin on the the whole experience; that’s why they got 4/5 from me. Otherwise we had a great time, and I recommend doing it!Leer másLeer menos
